Two things were born during the Summer lockdown of 2020; my first baby, William, and the idea for The Little Luggage Co.

We finally had the opportunity for a UK based holiday so I started searching for a cute bag or suitcase for William's things. Having dealt with a month in hospital as William was born eight weeks early, then a husband who broke his leg the day we got home, all the while exclusively pumping 24 hours a day; I knew my baby brain was incapable of planning exactly what I needed for myself as well as a baby, so giving up space in my luggage was not an option!

I really struggled to find something that wasn't covered with Marvel characters or pretty shockingly gender stereotypical pink & blue themed design. Thinking I couldn't be alone in wanting this, I conducted some market research which uncovered a surprising amount of people who confessed to using a 'bag for life' for packing for their baby! It was clear that there was a gap for a new brand so I used my extensive background in fashion buying and merchandising to take the plunge with The Little Luggage Co.

We also welcomed a new #LLCexplorer into our family; baby Harvey was born just as our first shipment arrived in the UK and the website launched; talk about spinning plates! Since then The Little Luggage Co has grown into a wider accessories brand with one main aim of making 'mum-life' easier.
